The heald is an important part of the loom. The most common healds use thin metal sheets made through a compression and polishing process. For a long time, healds have been made of stainless steel as a raw material. In recent years, great breakthroughs have been made in the use of materials. After a long period of research and development, plastic healds have been developed to replace stainless steel healds.

The healds have high quality and stability, which reduces the possibility of damage to the plastic healds, and greatly reduces the defects caused by filament scratches, filament damage or adhesion between the healds. Large size is used. Therefore, we have managed to improve the quality of the grey fabric woven by plastic healds, and at the same time increase the weaving productivity and efficiency, thereby further reducing costs.

Plastic healds are specially designed for water jet looms, air jet looms, and rapier looms made of high-tech plastic materials. Compared with stainless steel healds, the friction rate between plastic healds and fiber yarns is much lower, and the rate of wire breakage is relatively low.
