The healds are used to guide the warp yarns in the lifting movement, forming a shed for the introduction of the weft yarns. The healds we offer are meticulously manufactured from high quality stainless steel. Our steel healds have polished edges and thread eyes for perfect weaving of fine and low twist twisted yarns.

Heddle looms, equipment for weaving, characterized by short lengths of metal wires or flat steel belts of healds used to deflect the warp yarns to either side of the main fabric. Generally speaking, the heald is considered the single most important advancement in the development of the loom.

The original healds were movable rods, but later ropes, wires or steel belts were used. They are supported by the loom's harness, and each has an eyelet for the warp thread to pass through. In addition, our range of healds is suitable for all types of mechanical and electrical winding stop movements.
